CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS
It was in 1995 when Mr. Graham created his first vocal/dramatic studio. What has always been most important to him is the discovery of music and expression through “play”, emphasizing that the learning experience must always be positive. As a resident artist at the Centre Culturel de Drummondville (Québec), he created a vocal studio of considerable quality which quickly became a noted training ground for young singers preparing for post-secondary studies in vocal performance and, for others, preparation for audition and professional engagement. A very high success rate was enjoyed as many of his students have gone on successfully to university studies in vocal performance (in Canada and in the USA) and professional engagements (Cirque de Soleil, Festival Juste Pour Rire, Luc Plamondon's "Notre Dame de Paris" [Paris cast], several solo albums and concert tours).
Other than the creation of an elite vocal studio, Mr. Graham instigated the “Récital-Visite” and its Concours de Recrutement. Its mission was to provide a first professional recital experience to deserving young musical talent. Consequently, a bursary program and foundation were developed to aid deserving talent of limited resources.
After a sabatical year and relocation to Toronto, Mr. Graham once again opened a vocal/dramatic studio (now Atelier S) located in downtown Toronto. Always in search of new talent, he is compelled by his vocation of sharing the joy of music, singing, cultivation of the creative process and bringing it to the stage. Very much in demand, his students have quickly shown great progress, success and acceptance in their performance endeavours.
